Please mark your calendars for the next WSCI membership meeting that will take place on Friday, September 8th at Door Artisan Cheese Company (DACC). The day will begin with a tour at 10:00 a.m. of this exciting new culinary destination, located at 8103 Highway 42 N in Egg Harbor, WI. Following the tour, the membership meeting will start at approximately 11 a.m. A tentative agenda is attached.

Launched by Master Cheesemaker Mike Brennenstuhl earlier this year, DACC is a brand-new 18,000-foot facility that includes a cheesemaking plant, specialty food retail shop called Cave Market, and a casual fine-dining restaurant - Glacier Ledge. Under Mike's leadership, both traditional and original-recipe Wisconsin cheeses are being produced. DACC has three man-made caves on site for cheese aging which are the first of their kind in Door County.

For those of you who have not enjoyed time off this summer or would like to have a few additional days in early fall to experience a beautiful part of Wisconsin, consider making a weekend of your trip to Door County. A list of potential lodging options is attached including a campground for those of you who prefer "land yachting". 

ADDITIONALLY, Creative Business Services has graciously made arrangements for the Door County Trolley to take us on a narrated 75-minute scenic tour of northern Door County following lunch ( - click on Narrated Tour). A minimum of 22 people is needed to guarantee the tour, and the trolley will meet us at Door Artisan Cheese.
