The next WSCI membership meeting will take place on Friday, October 12 at Wollersheim Winery & Distillery, 7876 State Rd. 188, in Prairie du Sac, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Following the business meeting, Sid Cook of Carr Valley Cheese and Philippe Coquard of Wollersheim Winery & Distillery will do a combined special presentation and tasting of some of their products. Both the meeting and presentation will take place in the VINYARD ROOM.

Carr Valley Cheese Company is located in La Valle (http://www.carrvalleycheese.com/) and is owned and operated by Sid Cook, a Wisconsin-certified Master Cheesemaker. Sid received his cheesemaking license when he was 16 and today owns four cheese plants and eight retail cheese stores in Wisconsin. His family has made cheese for four generations, and Sid has won more top national and international awards than any other cheesemaker in North America. Carr Valley Cheese offers more than 50 original varieties of high-quality cow, sheep, goat, and mixed-milk cheeses that have been crafted by hand, as well as other dairy products.

Wollersheim Winery & Distillery sits on a scenic hillside across the Wisconsin River from Prairie du Sac (http://www.wollersheim.com/). European vintners planted grapevines and built limestone buildings on this National Historic site over 150 years ago. Today, Wollersheim Winery & Distillery features a 30-acre vineyard of French-American hybrid grapes, as well as the original 1860s limestone buildings, and produces 240,000 gallons of wine annually. It is best known for its popular award-winning Prairie Fume wine. The company is considered a leader in the Midwest's wine industry.

Please join us for this meeting, unique presentation, and networking lunch by returning your RSVP by Friday, October 5th via email kathy@planningoptionsinc.com, or by calling 262.740.2180 with your information.
